3 ozs, Colour A Double Knit

2 ozs. Colour B Double Knit

No. 8 Needles



To fit large size tea pot



Method

You need to knit two pieces the same

Using Colour A cast on 98 stitches

K 5 rows

Join in Colour B and proceed as follows:-

K1 in A, 6B, *7A,7B repeat from * to last 7 stitches

K1B,6A, *7B, 7A repeat from * to last 7 stitches

repeat last two rows twice

K1B, 6A, *7B, 7Arepeat from * to last 7 stitches

K1A, 6B, *7A, 7B..repeat from * to last 7stitches

repeat last two rows twice

Then repeat pattern rows until work measures 6" from beginning or to desired length to fit the teapot.

Decrease as follows

K2tog A, K3B, K2togB *K2togA, K3A, K2togA, K2togB, K3B, K2togB;repeat from * to last 7 stitches. K2togA, K3A K2togB
K1B, 4A *5B, 5A repeat from * to last 5 stitches. 4B, 1A

K2tog A, K1B. K2togB *K2togA K1A K2togA K2togB K1B K2 tog B repeat from * to last 5 stitches K2togA K1A k2tog B

K1B 2A *3B 3A repeat from * to last 3 stitches 2B 1A</P><U>

K2togA K1B *K2togA K1A K2togB K1B repeat from * to last 3 stitches K2togA K1B

K1B 1A, *2B 2A repeat from * to last 2stitiches 1B 1A</P><U>

Cut off B then K2tog, yarn over needle all along row<

<Knit 5 rows, cast off.



Knit second piece the same

Sew up the sides leaving holes for spout and handle

Make crotchet chain for top and thread though
