TUNA FISH PASTA
1 185gm tin tuna,drained.
1 440gm tin plum tomatos
1-2 tsps mixed herbs
1 small onion
(finely chopped)
1 500gm packet of spaghetti
Mix tuna,tomatos,herbs and onions in a pan and bring to the boil
then let simmer for 15-20 mins.
Serve with spaghetti.

1 185GM tin

Cold left-over mashed potato
1 beaten egg
Breadcrumbs (made from left-over bread)
Combine
tuna with potatos,make into cakes,dip in egg and roll in breadcrumbs and fry for 5-6 mins each side.

MACARONI CHEESE

packet cheese sauce made up using powdered milk
1 500gm packet of macaroni.
Make cheese sauce according to instructions
using made-up powdered milk.
Boil macaroni for 10-15 mins and combine with sauce.

VEGETABLE QUICHE

packet frozen mixed veg (ie peas,small carrots,swede etc)-thawed
4 eggs
8 oz shortcrust pastry made from 8oz plain
flour and 2oz margarine and 2 oz lard.
Make up pastry and line a quiche dish (or a casserole lid if you dont have
a dish!)
Beat the eggs and add the thawed mixed veg.
Cook in a medium oven for about 35-40 mins until browned.

1 tin corned
beef
1 medium bag of potatos
1 large onion chopped
Chop up potatos and put in a large pan with water just
covering.
Add onion and corned beef and bring to the boil and simmer for 25-30 mins.

1 185gm tin of tuna,drained
1 500gm packet of pasta,any kind.
Cook pasta as on packet.
Mix with tuna and soup and heat together.

1 tin of corned
beef
Left-over mashed potato
8oz of shortcrust pastry
Line a pie dish with 1/2 the pastry.
Mash the corned
beef and potato together and put on the pastry.
Cover with other half of pastry.
Cook in medium oven for 30-35 mins

1 packet
of frozen mixed veg

1-2 tsps chilli powder
1 tin kidney beans
Mix all indgredients
and bring to boil in pan.
Simmer for 20 mins
Serve with rice

1 tin chick peas
1 onion chopped
1 440gm tin plum tomatos
1-2 tsps curry powder
Mix indgredients and bring to boil - simmer
for 15-20 mins
Serve with rice

'Thunder & Lightning'
1 tin
chickpeas, drained
1-2 cloves garlic
1 tbsp oil
knob of butter
3-4oz pasta per person
grated cheese
Cook pasta. Gently fry garlic in oil and butter, then add chickpeas and fry
until golden. Drain pasta and mix
in chickpeas etc.
Serve with grated cheese and fresh herbs if you have any !

1 tbsp oil
knob of butter
Onion
Tinned tomatoes
Tinned tuna
1-3 tbsp Salad cream / Mayonnaise
3-4 oz pasta per person
Cook
pasta. Fry chopped onion, cut up tomatoes in can and add to onion - heat
through. Add drained tuna and heat through. Add
salad cream (yes really !)
and heat through. Season to taste.
Drain pasta, add sauce to pasta.

Can of tomatoes
Can of kidney beans
Can of sweetcorn
Fresh chilli, chilli powder, tabasco sauce to taste
